Feeling Sick.

it's a crap shoot for sure.
No way of knowing or telling till she blows..
My wifes' is an 05 with the silver motor and pretty red paint job.
Mine is an 07 an the black on black combo, no trouble with either...
Well that wasn't owner induced...
Come to think of it, when mine was about 6 weeks old the rear end went out,
I'd forgot about that... yea, watch out for the black ones....
What color was yours again???

Get on to any forum, any brand, you will imediately find the bad comments, problems everywhere, remember that no one posts questions about a perfectly running bike, there is questions about problem bikes only, for every bad bike out there there are 1000s of good bikes, makes sense?

Go to IDK's thread , 123456 and you will see his bike, that is his mileage now, if i remember right his is an 06 or o7?

I have read about the problems with early pre 2007 bike and thought mine had the upgrade fitted.Checking my Vin number and it's pre 337294 and although my bike is not showing any sighs of any problems i am now worried sick that i am riding a time bomb.

Going to contact Triumph asap.

I was going to buy a pint of milk but it was going to expire in five days time so I thought I better not:mad:, ride the effin bike and enjoy it but with the way you are talking(well typing) you will hear every groan from the bike and think that its time has come.

yes, the gut wrenching truth has now been exposed........... the silver engines are indeed superior, and heres why....... with the early rockets, factory workers were excited at first, and cared about them, but then after building a whole bunch of em, with no raise, the workers became disenchanted, and then morale sank, and that is why some of the ones with black motors, when you whack the throttle, the engines break loose and fall right out on the ground! true story...........scott
