rockets might like the rain but I for one am getting tired or riding in it all the time.....I think Ime gonna start leading and maybe I can out run it.....leaving rainman to get wet by himself

I am going to try to get my chapter up there for the event I have had a few people express intrist in riding the dragon that being said there could be a few more people than expected riding up with me. I am not sure wether they plan to take part or head off on there own but none the less I have marked it on my books and will have to wait a little bit before I know wether or not I have those days off. I should know some thing for sure in a couple of weeks.

This is shaping up to be even better that RAA IV with new routes and destinations. Choice of daily routes and the senery will be some of the best in the country. Even a waterfall you can drive your rocket behind to take a picture. Please confirm asap to ensure your spot. If you have any questions send me a PM.
Dates --- Sept 25th - 28th
Where --- A Holiday Motel Maggie Valley (877-686-4386)
Agenda ---
A short and a long route ride will be planned for the 26th & 27th There will also be a long route planned on the 25th for those that want to arrive a day early and ride friday. Local maps and discount attraction tickets will be available for those that want to venture out on their own. All planned rides will depart promptly at 9:00am.
Breakfast Buffet will be available between 7:00 & 9:00 each morning
Catered party each evening with 20X40 Party Tent, Bon Fire with unlimited supply of Marshmallows -- BYOB Coolers Furnished
Friday Night --- Burgers, Hotdogs, Brats with all the sides and fixings
Saturday Night --- Italian Night, Pizza, pasta Etc.
Sunday Night --- Barbeque Night, pulled pork, chicken, chili, lots of sides and fixings
Detail Menus will be included in the final agenda.
Cost ----
Single queen or 2 double bed rooms --- $55.00 per night
Two queen bed or 2 room suites --- $59.00 per night
Breakfast Buffet + Dinner Buffet --- $25.00 per day all inclusive tax/gratuity
Lunch suggestions will be included on the final agenda
The party tent is 250.00 for the weekend that includes setup and tear down the cost will be divided up equally between the attendees. should be $10.00 or less for the weekend.
General Info ---
Long rides - will be 175 - 250 miles per day with total saddle time between 5 & 6.5 total time out between 8 to 11 hrs there will be many scenic stops and attractions.
Short routes - will be between 85 and 120 miles with total saddle time between 3 and 4 hrs. Total time out will be between 6 to 8 Hrs.
An Equipped support vehicle will be provided for the long route rides / with trailer, tools, spare gas, first aid, package storage In case you shop, drinks, and snacks. Attendees not wanting to make the ride by bike may ride in the support vehicle.
We have 24 rooms blocked at the holiday that will accommodate 50+ attendees. Should we fill up an over flow location will be designated.
A credit card is required to make reservations card will not be charged until arrival. room, food and tent fee will be charged upon arrival. Cancelations must be made 1 week in advance to prevent charges. Any cancelations or no show not given 1 week in advance will be charged a 1 day room charge.
A detailed agenda will be provided by July 15th.

I am trying to get a handle on how many additional rooms I need. Every thing is shaping up to be a nice event Should have the detailed agenda ready by the weekend just finilizing the dinner/party menu's with the host.
