Fall '09- Rocket launch - Maggie Valley

Youre right about I-59 rainman. No difference today. Still good in the left hand lane, largely. We made it into MV just before sunset; after a not so successful early start
It is damp here this evening and had a tad bit of rain after coming up on the mountains.
 
glad youall made it safe and i will have something better than beer when i get there
and im not talking bout rain see youall tomorrow
 
I'm sittin here in Oklahoma, awaitting daylight to come on.
So I can put Betty in the shop for her #113 TPS upgrade.
Got a phone call a little earlier in the evening from some good ole boys,
and one sweet lady from Tennessee,
just to tell me how much they wished I was there, and how good my shine was..
Just like a bunch of Rebel Rouser Rocket Riders, If I'd been there, they'd have had to share that shine, so they ain't wishin I was there to bad..
Glad everyone made it safe.
Sure wanted to be with you guys.
I'm thinkin RAA 5 can't get here soon enough...

It is 7:50 and I am driving over to have breakfast and see you guys if any of you are around. Giving a 100% chance of rain and flash flood watch so will drive pickup. Hope to see you, should be there around 9.

Skip our fearless leader Steve is still unconscious this morning after consuming your moonshine in one swallow, do you have any suggestions how to wake him up
We have tried the usual stuff like electric shocks, pins in the arse etc etc etc but still he sleeps

that stuff ain't for beginners or youngsters..

Get a pic of him passed out in a kilt with it around his ankles,
That'll teach him to rustle my shine..

I'm with skip on the updates, I was so looking forward to this ride, the **** Army and their scheduling I had to drive the boy to St. Louis at 3:00 AM yesterday so he could fly to Korea. The boy called me at 6:00 AM this morning to let me know he was on the tarmac in Seoul it was like 6:00 PM there.
