Why can't it be simple? Why can't I find an exhaust system that sounds mean, looks exquisite, and cheaper than dirt.. Is that really too much to ask ?!
Yeah, I reckon that the only answer is that you have to be happy when you make the final decision. Worst scenario you use them for a while and then change. Same as woman I suppose, the difference is that perhaps you enjoy more trying different ones first to find the right one.......but you can always change her later! More costly that the pipes though
BTW I have the Staitune on mine, and they are just OK, not a great super sound compare with my cobras or vance and hines on previous bikes. I'm considering to drill them ........

you are so right Alex haha she's the only girl I don't mind spending money on. How do you like your staitunes besides the sound is it a good look and good performance ? I'm looking at shorty
Anyone have Jardines? I just ordered a new Roadster. Would like a good sound, but not obnoxiously loud. The Jardines look awesome, but I don't know what kinda sound they give. Anyone?

Hiya mate, looks is ok, IMHO the rocket will look better with the 3 x 1 or just only 2 can one on either side. Performance is fine, no worries there. Quite frankly they are better ones out there. In my case , they came with the bike so on one hand i was lucky not to have to spend money there
Maybe I'm old or maybe I'm missing the point here but... Why buy a new bike then proceed to replace parts? The Stock exhausts on my 2011 roadster sound great. Sounds to me like you're spending money for spendings sake.

Now look what you made me do there... I actually used an emoticon for the first time on this site. A manufacturer has a lot to deal with to get a new product on the road. Too many regulations and factors to list. That said, they need to make a lot of compromises. One compromise is ALWAYS the performance. One aspect of performance they have to compromise on is ALWAYS how the vehicle breathes. Therefore if you want the bike to perform as the engineers designed the vehicle if there was no need for compromises, you MUST change the exhaust... and upgrade the intake to match the inhale to the new exhale. "spending money for spending sake" is like repainting a flat black bike so it looks satin black. Or striping paint off a perfectly good part and having it powder coated 'just in case' it gets chipped. There are a lot of things you can spend your money on that many people might think is a waste of money. But upgrading the exhaust on a bike built around performance with hooligan ancestry is not one of those things. I assume you came from a bike with less power than your rocket and value your hearing. So in that case, you must be fine with the current performance of your bike. Openroad and others would like to unlock their bike's potential, please don't judge them for their views. Why comment on this thread? Why did you even open this thread? If modifying your exhaust does not interest you, then go look at the other threads that talk about the joke of the day or political rhetoric. Now I'm making the confused face...
