Emissions Testing

Just north of my area of Virginia, the counties require emissions testing on cars, however, I'm curious as to what are the requirements for motorcycles. I made sure when I picked up my '06 Std with Staintune Cat-bypass and Pipes that I contacted the previous owner and retrieved the catbox.

Britman or Hero, are either one of you in Stafford County or more north? If so, do you have to do anything special for the annual inspections?

I'd also be interested in hearing from others in areas where emissions testing is required. What hoops do you have to go through to pass the testing?

We're both in Stafford Cnty. No emissions testing is required for motorcycles.

Smog

Denver Colo.has a new devision for the taxpayers to pay for.Your sitting at a red light and new devision guy runs up to your tail pipe and shoots it with a infrared laser (or some hi tech gaget)and it tells him if your putting out to much pollution.If not,you get to skip the next inspection.If you are polluting you have a set amount of time to correct it.So I don't ride in denver any more.Its comming,so keep your cat box on the shelf.Don't think I'm gona like electric bikes.
