You need to run the relay wiring straight to ground, if you are using the bikes light wiring for ground it will cause odd things to happen to the park lights.

Yea I did that. I'm wondering if the black wire on the marker light was a switched wire. Now it is running thru the EB setup direct to battery. I bet if I disconnect it I'LL get the tail light back in park.

Since only one of the small connectors is used for the EB kit I'd use the second connector to run just the marker lights (yellow and black wires). Then functionality remains stock.
