Driving Me Crazy!!

I got the "final" estimate on my R3C at $6600, insurance agreed and the parts were ordered. The parts came in today, and although the Triumph parts catalog shows the read fender assembly with the light on it, when it came, there was no light on it. The dealer called Triumph and they told him that the fender assembly didn't include the lights so now he has to do an estimate for all the light pieces and go back to the insurance company for a supplemental claim of about $600 - $700 so now the cost is north of $7000! And of course I have to wait for the parts to come in all over again. If the new parts arrive in the same amount of time as the first order did, I'm looking at being without a bike for a good 6 weeks. Nothing I can do about it, but thanks for letting me vent.

Any chance the insurance could spring for a replacement ride while you wait? Makes sense to me! You're out a ride; the guy who crashed you should pony up and remember to say his prayers of thanks that he didn't do worse.

I got a laugh from this one too..... it's awful I know, but a rental car for a bike?! you have to giggle at that one.

Too bad they didn't just total it, I know where a really nice one is for sale. LOL

Got quoted $14,000 to repair my Rocket today , insurance assessor going to have a look at my bike tommorow. God only knows how long i'm going to be off the road waiting for parts if they decide to repair. The mere thought of weeks and weeks in a Hyena car Don't want to even go there !!!!!!!!

At 14000 they better total it I can buy a new one cheaper than that, a couple grand cheaper .
How much do they get for a rocket in OZ?

when i crashed my 06c i had 7000 damage and stilled owed 10000 they totaled it and paid the bike off so go figure

When I crashed my 05 in 08 there was 6800 in damage and they totaled it.
They gave me 11000 for it and I got to keep all the aftermarket stuff I had on it.
Bought my 08 for ten and got a free chrome cam cover .

First vehicle I ever bought with zero miles on it they have alway had at least 1.
