well mine was about £19 for 100g once you add post and VAT. So yours is cheaper per gram but then again It'll take me years to use 100g let alone half a litre ...
Just got done doing one of mine, with Caterpillar copper based never seize. And it is a slight ***** getting the splines lined up on the go back together. I'd read about using string, but wound up wadding up the end of the string enough to push under the spline shaft, and after some wiggling and cussing, got her engaged, then was able to pull the string wad out.
Next time using the fat portion of a TieWrap at least 6 inches long, lift the shaft and insert the wrap head to support the greased gear perfect. Once you mate the gears, pull the TieWrap out and viola, finish and torque. Wear gloves. This moly grease is sticky stuff.
