Don't ride your R3 in the rain!
So if you wet it you'll void the warranty but if you don't wet it (for washing) you'll void the warranty - cheeky buggers!

FWIW, I've ridden for hours at a time in torrential rain at highway speeds without any problems

Oh, so, maybe the fact that I use "abrasive scouring pads and steel wool" to clean the finish of my red 3R could be the reason that it's no longer red.
