Want to Buy Dobeck GEN 4

Call Dobeck and buy it directly from them. $25 discount for forum members. $75 discount for military.
Hi Red Rocket, I called D/Performance and talked to Dillon and unfortunately to me he said that AFR+ is out of stock and he doesn't know when they going to have it.

Ask if they have a European Distributor. I don't know what Eires consumer laws are like but here you get 2 years warranty and the price these days for a lot of US made stuff is not THAT much more - once you pay transatlantic shipping and customs dues.

May one suggest PCV and AT then!. Though with your published spec's - you have Hansos tune in. Most of us with PCV/AT use Hansos PCV tunes or there abouts. So you're pretty close. UNLESS you really want to spend time fiddling - in which case - nothing should dissuade you.

Hi Barbagris, I thought of buying PCV + Auto Tune after Hanso recommend it, but it cost $510+ $40 shipping cost+ custom taxes and we looking at $650 which is almost double cost of AFR+. Dillon reco

They are two different beasts. One is very much a "black box in which you have to trust" - The other is more involved but can offer therefore more IF you have the patience and analytical understanding.

I am currently playing with a very odd section of the maps. Low load/rpms. Seems here the answer may be simply use TuneECU and disable AFR targeting. I thought I was doing something wrong but have had my suspicions confirmed. Also depends what you are tuning for. POWER, ACCELERATION, CONSUMPTION or just SMOOTH. I am after the last two.

My tune target would be acceleration and consumption as twice a year I do long trips to continent with average of 5000km per trip the consumption would be as much important as acceleration. My question is would be possible to construct two different ECU MAPS one for acceleration and another one for consumption and say when I go on the long trips upload CONSUMPTION map via Tune ECU and for local riding use the acceleration map?
