I static balance my own tires. I went with a 225/55R16 Goodyear Potenza Grid. No complaints.

Happy with the 225-55 Raptor.
Once or twice down the tail of the dragon and she ain't square no more.
Got several miles on it since then and it still looks almost new,
except the edges that is.
I mounted it the day we left for NC two years ago, and I'm still happy with the decision,
I'd have went through 4 -5 metzs by now.
You do have to find the sweet spot on the air pressure.
You'll know it cause it won't ride like a tank anymore, it'll ride silky smooth.
Good luck in your search.

Add pressure for two up would be a safe assumption. Looks good, reckon I'm going for it. Must pick a tire now.

When I still had my Rocket I ran a 245 Toyo Proxes at 31 lbs all the time, regardless of wife on back or not. Wet traction is nothing short of amazing and in the dry is even better. The tire rubbed one time on my inner fender when the wife and I were 2 up and fully loaded, but I had stock shocks on it and neither she nor I are lightweights.

This is after 10,000+ miles of riding and having ground down my hero blobs to nubs, no wear what so ever on the sidewalls.

And the day I put it on the bike in my garage.
