[Triple Trouble]

I was on it twice this week. The first time it was raining and there was no point in risking it. In the first mile there was a Harley off the road with the rider down so we turned back. The following day it was full of lunatics (but not us ! ) and again a Harley went off. Guys just ride beyond their limits I guess. I wouldn't bother to do it again, there are plenty of other great roads around there with none of the hassles.

Rode to it but passed since it was wet. Bald front and no detent spring helped but it was the wet that clinched it. Didn't miss it either.

If you want a ride like that with more area and less idiots, you guys should try and ride the "Back of the Dragon" on route 16 from Marion to Tazwell, VA. It's actually part of a bigger road system that centers around Wytheville, VA at the intersection of I81 & I77called the "Claw of the Dragon". Look it up on the net, you can find lots of info and maps. This area is pristene mountain country with very little if any traffic at times.

Also while you're in the area, check out the Big Walker Lookout Tower where you can see 5 states from the top.
