Going to ride the twisties in Harrison, Eureka Springs, and Mountain Home next week while taking in the fall colors. Anyone that has tips on good eats or watering holes please share.

I was at the Hub back in September with a bunch of the Rocket riders and one Can Am Sypder rider. Rooms were reasonable (I think around $59 plus tax) and they had a good restaurant there (Scooters)...all in all pretty reasonable and just off of "Scenic Hwy 7" and near Harrison and plenty of curves in the area going south (on 7).

There are a couple restaurants in Eureka Springs, a couple biker shops, Roscoe's Coffee Shop, and The CatHouse. Roscoe is a adventure bike rider, and it always has a great crowd; on Saturdays a lot of Euro-Bikers stop there. The CatHouse is a true biker bar, with their own t-shirts and great scenery, that can get downright serious on Sunday afternoons :)

In Huntsville, there is one restaurant that newcomers tend to enjoy for either Breakfast or Lunch - can't remember the name.

Oark Cafe is one of the oldest spots in Arkansas, with great burgers and pies. While I've seen some bikers complain, everyone tends to enjoy the ride there.

I'm not a fan of Harrison, but the Hub is a nice biker-oriented hotel south of Harrison.

There is a great burger shop in Jasper, on the north end of the Canyon. Eat there and then follow Hwy 7 by the Canyon. If you're into a longer trip follow it all the way to Hot Springs. Have breakfast at the Pancake Shop, an old-school place in the historic downtown area.

If you plan to come into Fayetteville, most of the motorcycles are on Dickson Street. Give us some advance notice and we may come meet you.

Thanks Guys

It will be a short trip, we are leaving KY 10/13 and returning either the 15th or 16th. Thanks for all the tips.

Not sure we will make it to fayetteville as we have decided to stay in Mountain Home, if we get to craving some adult entertainment we may make the trip though

Arkansas, what a shocker. It looks like the economy has hit that place hard. Thank God we stayed in Mountain Home or the trip would have been a disaster as bars were plentiful. Rode Highways 341, 14, 15, 21, 23, 65, 412/62, and 101 headed out of town to Missouri.:D

Visited the Hub in Marble Falls-don't waste your money or time, very rough looking place and no alcohol. Harrison looked like it was about ready to file bankruptcy. Did not make Eureka Springs or Fayetteville though.
