So I just acquired a set of practically new D&D's from one of our members and I thought I might ask around and see if anyone else is running these.
Should I run them with or without the baffles?
I am also thinking of purchasing the Ramair filters everyone has been talking about. Might wanna see what the old girl can do with some simple mods and a tune. Any suggestions for a tune/ set up?

I'm interested in this as well. I was considering taking mine out but I have no idea how involved it would be to put them back in if I don't like it. They also have set up noise traps here so I wonder if we'd be over the db limit with the baffles out...?

I do. They were on the bike when I bought it. I have the original pipes in a box along with the cat but I like the way the bike sounds now. A little more volume would be nice but I would not want it to be obnoxiously loud. I still haven't tuned either. I'm not sure what tune to load for my bike (tuneecu) but I imagine a little reading might help with that.

I'm sure one of our tuning gurus will pipe in and help you out. From looking at my exhaust, the baffles are just held in with a couple of screws. Shouldn't be too hard to remove. It's worth a try.

Just put a couple hundred miles on my bike and the baffles are staying in! It sounds like a diesel truck it's friggin awesome! Can't wait till my ramair shows up

Just ordered D & D slip ons two weeks ago, ( back ordered 2 to 4 weeks) already have new tune installed by manayunk triumph. They are great guys said it won't hurt the bike just runs a little richer. ( smells like a stinky Harley now) Can't wait till pipes get here, I will post my a review after I get them on. Bike does run a little better with just the tune!
