I would think that if you want a cup holder, you probably have front and rear dresser bars also. If you do, they make a leather drink holder that fits on the rear dresser bar. Holds a water bottle or whatever. Easy to reach also.
Myself, I keep a flask under my seat in the empty airbox. Never know when you might need a good rip of bourbon. I'ld mount it on the handlebars if the law wouldn't object.

Reading this thread made me realize I really needed a cup holder on my Classic. Bought the aluminum one that Nolton has and don't feel like it'll make my bike Goldwing-like at all.

A factory cup holder is supplied, just use the old plenum after installing pods. Holds an assortment of beverages depending on your re-hab status.

Right on rayvin I can't think of anything hearted than ridden in the morning with a hot cup of coffee and a cold one in the afternoon, can't waite to get mine

i bought an 08 classic a couple of weeks ago and it had one of the cup holders. great quality, but it'll occupy space on my bench rather than on my bike.
