Removed my Triumph Long Haul seat with backrest this afternoon and reinstalled my Corbin heated seat. The difference this time was that I hooked up the heat this time (didn't need it originally, and eventually removed it while I was doing my "traveling") and amazingly enough...it worked.

I left the luggage rack / sissy bar w/pad assembly on...doesn't look too bad I may keep it that way for the winter.

The heated grips also work real well and I couldn't leave them on "red" (highest setting) for too long and turned them down to green.

I do have one question...when I removed the Long Haul seat it left some imprints in the paint from the round holes on the bottom of the seat. Any ideas on how to successfully buff them out?

I had a tank strap on mine originally (anyone want it, by the way?) and it left some marks on the tank when I took it off. Got some really good polish that removed all sign of the strap completely. Will check when I get home what it was.

Yeah, get some course sand paper or a metal file and keep rubbing over the marks until you cant see them anymore!!!!:D:D:D

(this is a joke, dont do this at home folks!

Forget about those imprints...you are treating me to breakfast? I may have to come over...haven't seen Daryl in awhile...wonder if he is up to it?

Baadactor...you need to get out more...in my corner of NW Florida last winter we had single digit temps.

If you live in Florida below Gainesville you will usually not get too much in the way of real cold temps...maybe briefly...but south of Orlando...a heated seat is definitely not needed.

Have to plan on it one weekend Dennis maybe get Bob out for a ride also, I am a busy bee this weekend my local ref association is holding a field clinic for FHSAA so I will be busy Friday and Saturday then Sunday is the Sanddollar pumpkin run.
I have not heard or seen Daryl for a while the last I heard is that he got layed off then started his own business?

I just love those megaphone pipes that come on the Tbird. I am anxious to hear a set that are opened up. I cancelled my order for the Carpenter pipes because I wanted them before Lone Star Rally this coming week. They said is was going to take 2 weeks....

Wish you could hear mine as they have been changed out for the BC Hogslayers...put a poor Harley to shame...better sound with HP and Torque:D.
