I was thinking how cool that stuff was that Nolton posted and then I remembered you'd sent me the info on the chrome and, without thinking, there it was. Some of my best work is done without thinking. ;) Some say all of my best work is done that way.

Be a real interesting thread if others can come up with nifty bits and pieces like that.

Thanks IIR3 by the way. And TC, well.............

NOw dont kick me off the site for being like a weasle cock sucking piece of **** turd son of a whore slut that tries to sell my product on this site but let me say,

the nanotech stuff is amasing...problem is it is toxic and requires expert application given it is a 2 pac product and chemical base means it must be mixed perfectly and used immediately.

So happens, a family company of mine has invented an acrilic base version of this here in Australia and is 100% organic and environmentally friendly. All storage containers and applicators are 100% recyclable and is also has permeating qualities enabling you to apply to concrete and will protect you from concrete cancer as now water or solvent permeation is possible. It is the only CSIRO tested and approved product for art and public furniture application preserving and surface from graffiti and deterioration. Being Aussies it also has an untestable life span agains solar, uv and any other chemical other than Neuclear atom separation. Best part is it is a category 1 product meaning it is approved as food grade and child safe.

I must admit, it tastes like crap but wont harm you. Bloody brilliant product. I sprayed my bike and gear with it, rode through a storm and 2 hours later got to my destination dry and bike was clean!

Cant wait to take it to the public later this year.

I'm evaluating that and two competing superhydrophobic products for use in something we're working on. So far, pretty amazing contact angles but poor durability and two of the three formulations I'm working with are cloudy/hazy (one is optically clear and has decent transmission characteristics; I'm working on finding out how much autoflorescence there is). If they can get the durability of the coating improved it's going to be revolutionary for a number of applications. In the meantime, vapor deposition is a good option; check into it for things like cell phones. Not quite as good a contact angle but much better durability. You can send out parts to get coated if they're small enough.

Let me know if you want to speak to our product development manager. Pm me. Our stuff truly is world leading and durability is what CSIRO loved about it. Our pull off test is also word leading.

Yep Ponters was going to say I can imagine you performing the pull off test :D but that would be sick
Seems like the going rate for selling stuff here is 50% of retail plus postage.
When is it due for release?
