Clutch reassembly troubles (Paranoid maybe?)

Ok here is something to look for when you pull the basket. First do not pull it off all the way; just out so the gears come out of mesh. You will probably feel the teeth on the basket flex; this is good. After the teeth are clear, see if you can push it back in? If not, good; which means you would need the punch or screw driver to collapse the springs in the back of the basket. These are the back lash eliminator springs and at least you now know they are not collapsed and still work. After that pull the basket and flop her over to inspect the rear plate for any excessive torque damage :)

This could add to a lot of banging to parts that would not normally get that so you might feel it or not but easy at your point to inspect. Then you'll have the full picture. Oh and you have the older style clutch pressure plate set up. Not that it matters until you decide which route you want to go. I can not see the fractures good enough to tell you should upload the full image like above instead of thumb nails. But the bolts don't go down very far if you have looked at it by now I went with longer ones.

Give it a bit...someone will chime in.
I'm sorry. I really didn't want to be pushy that wasn't the intention. Just that after 5 hours there was still 0 views so I wanted to bump it up.

@Pedro
You nailed it! Went dumpster diving, got the old one. The one in the middle is the old one, the other 2 are what the dealer sold me WTF! I'm putting the old nut back

As for the inner basket, after looking at the pictures it definitely look as part of the casting. I cleaned it up more and looked with a UV light and there are no cracks. So yeah I guess It was all in my mind.

@warp9.9 Thanks man! I will definitely look for damage on the back plate. What about the springs rubbing in the clutch pressure plate? Is this typical

I can not say I have ever seen that. Not that I paid much attention but I think it would have jumped out at me if it would have been there. That being said I really can not tell you. Except if it were mine I would take to opportunity to buy the newer pressure plate and roller bearing along with the new style lifter piece. Not that old style is not good I just like the roller bearing verses the needle and thrust plate assembly. I would be curious as to the opposite side of the pressure plate the splined area does it have any damage or signs of pounding like in the spring holes. Do you see any on the hub and when together how much slop is in there where they mesh? I wish I was home to look at parts :( Oh and was there a spacer between the the clutch basket and the internal hub?
