Clutch is Heavy/Straining...

I usually go to first pulling up, and neutral after a car is sitting stopped behind me. We’ve some hellaciously long lights here.

I was sitting in a line at a red light (69 gmc) when a small truck hit me from the rear hard enough
to plaster me to the back (good dent in top of cab) which made it impossible for me to keep my foot on the brake. launched me about 25 feet and hit the guy in front of me breaking his seat and putting him in the back seat.
the moral of the story u r not safe with a couple of cars behind u.

Yep, totally acknowledge that, but you’re never getting out of the way of a chain reaction rear end incident either because you won’t see it coming.

That said, if someone someday, we’re to rear end mufasa, they better sit in their car with the door locked until the police arrive, I know myself and I know for a fact I’ll absolutely go from polite Rob, to incredible murderous hulk rob the instant I see the damage to my bike...

The rage at stuff like that is exactly why I stopped carrying side arms.
