Choosing brake pads?

Can someone explain the difference in 'feel' and performance (if there is any) in the different types of pads available?

Apparently there are hard, medium and soft pads available for the Rocket :shock:

I fitted sintered pads into mine, front & back.

I've had those type fitted for 4 years now.

They feel as if they have much more stopping power, but they also seem to wear out quicker.

For me, that is an OK trade off.

Only ones I've used is sintered and not-sintered.

Sintered definitely (I think) stop you quicker but it's a harsher stop than the non-sintered.

Some of the aftermarket pads have a lot less stopping power than the OE pads,forget the bran I tried..Nissan?? mebbe non sintered or harder pads? Sintered is definately best.Flip sells them

I just put on a full set of flips sinistered pads and they are much better than old ones.
