Change Your Brake Fluid

Dot 3 and Dot 4 are similar and can cross over and mix. The difference is the heat range they are designed for. Dot 4 has a higher heat rating by a few degrees and therefore is considered the better brake fluid to use.
But if you don't have Dot 4 or access to it, Dot 3 is acceptable for the most part.
