Just met an 82 year old peugot mechanic selling his 85 r65 BMW. He was sadly told to do so by doc.
He had designed an electric centre stand that worked so easy, I thought now there,s an idea for the rocket!!
I must ask his permission to post idea,s but I,ll take jd to see it asap, being more tech than me. great old bloke has kept bike like new and also solved screen problems of face blast with a simple brilliant idea. Seems a real life Burt Munro right here in my own home town!!
Respect him too much to just splurge his intellect but couldn,t resist posting my find!!
Praps I just tell him to ignore his doc and be happy,,,, Lifestyle counselling in exchange for tech knowhow!
He intends to buy a scooter anyway!! Maybe he can,t use his shoulders too strongly,, didn,t like to ask tyoo much!
Going on our average forum age we,ve all got 30 years riding ahead of us to catch up,,maybe he has some lifestyle counselling for US!
