Hey Guys, I just purchased the Triumph cat bypass option. There were no instructions or anything with it. Just how do you install it? Is it a big job?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

There are no instructions for it. Basically remove the cat box and replace with the bypass. There are wire mesh gaskets on the connections that should be reused if they come off clean or replaced if they don't.
The mesh gaskets need to be heated with a propane torch (or a blue point tool) and re-shaped on the new bypass. They are soaked with solder I believe so when it heats up, they seal up.
Note :
Also if I remember right its been a good while ago now,
since I did mine
The long bolt the goes through a bracket that hold the cat box on .
When you un screw that .. its un bolted after a bit , but you have to apply
a little back pressure ( pulling on head of bolt ) and turning , because
it spins in rubber gommet , to get it out
You have probably long since done this mod. However, don't forget to use the rubber spacers that are on the cat box. You will need to remove, they are very tight I found a little W-D 40 will get them loose. Then attach to the bypass pipe. Other than that don't forget to re-map. Have fun!
