2014 Rocket 3 Touring
I'm sure this has been covered 100 times but could someone recommend a cat bypass for a '14 r3 touring model?

The cats are in the mufflers most go with TORS or D&D mufflers or you could put whole exhaust on ,pricey tho.

Both are very nice. My friend Bob has the D&D on his touring. They are very nice. Also you will want to load the Power-Trip tune for the Touring. It unlocks about 30 more horsepower in the Touring.

Go to the forum named TuneEcu Source. Download the free program TuneEcu to your computer. Purchase from Amazon the needed cable to connect your computer to your bike. Read, Read, Read, then do.

D&D Exhaust for Touring

Viking Exhaust by @Paul Bryant on this site is another option. His web page is limited (no Rocket there).
If you have access to FaceBook, you can see his work with the Rocket there: Paul Bryant | Facebook

Or you can cut the back off the mufflers and remove the cats .The sound is still quite quiet .
Have you done this? It would be cool if I could disassemble then reassemble the muffler minus the cats. Does anyone have an exploded diagram of the muffler so I could see what I was dealing with?

Look under the "Performance" forum for the thread, "Another way to Skin the CAT" I did it while documenting it for that very purpose. In my opinion it is the simplest, cheapest and easiest solution. Even if you can't weld, you can do all the steps yourself and then take it to a welder to simply re-seal the can. You retain the stock look and gain the benefit in performance. I prefer it over the TOR's as it's just a touch quiter.
