Cant Ride, had to sell

Unknown as of yet, being looked at since March and no ideas on the cause.....

Doctor said if my back dose its lock up trick while I am riding I will go down.....so until its fixed I had to stop riding.......

Getting old sux, not being able to ride sux worse

Sorry to hear you had to stop riding .... getting older ain't for the faint hearted that's for sure. Hope good news comes your way mate.

Sorry to hear you can't ride any more. Can you tell me your back is doing and what you were you doing when it went out.

the muscles in the middle of my back tense up so hard that I can not stand (get "thrown to the floor" if it happens while standing). It seems to be pinched nerves, but I can be doing nothing and get the problem.

Cold on my back will set it off, walking, sitting.........never know when it just happens whenever.

On reason my be from an old drag racing injury, #3-#5 neck vertebra are fused from whip-lash injury (nothing like hitting the sand trap at over 150 MPH). It may be from being a stereo installer when I was younger (bent in all sorts of positions putting gear in cars).....it may even be genetics, Mom has similar problems.

So far the best treatment has been Naproxen Sodium (Advil), if I feel any pain take 2 right away and I can avoid the "lock up" 80% of the time. Hanging upside down by my feet for a while helps too......

When I do lock up I am out for at least an hour (cant move) then it just goes away...........

To bad trike was not a option. Kool trikes from wisconsin has a awesome performance trike kit for rocket 3. I test road one, and it took corners like I was on rails. Kit is like 6 grand.

Really feel for you; that would suck big time. Maybe down the track a trike will be an option for you. Good luck with it mate.

That does suck.

Reminds me of my favourite bat joke though...

Three bats on a branch, two hanging upside down, one the right way up.

Bat 1 hanging upside down says to bat 2 hanginging upside down:

"what's the go with that guy the right way up?"

Bat 2:

"he's fainted" .....
