My Fournales were about €600: and I have never regretted getting them.
But after my fork upgrade from Maxton - if I were starting from scratch (esp if I was in the UK) I would just go to see Richard at Maxtons and have a full front/rear setup made.
Next year DMX in Spain (who are just down the road) will start making fork cartridges. They were VERY impressed by the Maxtons and see them as the price to beat.
GP20 - AFAIK they do not offer the GP30. R3 forks are not that capacious internally.
They offer with or without preload/damping adjustment.
I ordered without as my (non standard) handlebars were going to be very likely to impinge fitment.
They supplied them with damping adjusters anyway FOC.
I will go and see Damian at DMX next year.
DMX fitted my Maxtons for me (and later adjusted the air gap for free) , and they want to make a kit with recessed pre-loaders for Kayaba's (for which they are an agent).
Thanx Nat...The stomach pain will go brutha...i'm not too bad when you look around....I reckon if youget your head down about your own health issues, go visit the local hospital and take a walk around inside...you will soon see there are a heap of other poor souls who are WAY worse off!!
Re The suspension...thanx...am looking forward to it.
I did contact Maxtons and will start a thread with the info they sent...very good.
