Brake away vs Throttlemeister

I've had both and i'll take the Brake-away any day over the Throttlemeister. Easy thumb on, 2 ways of disconnecting, quality built and no rolling of the wrist for any reason.

I had the breakaway. Took it across country in 2006. Had a number of adjustment problems with it. Found it a real pain until sorted out. Then when idle problem began dealer blamed the breakaway. I now know that this is false, but frankly have not put it back on either.

I just ordered a throttlemeister. I've always had cruise control on my Harley Road Kings so I'll let you know what I think when I mount it and ride it a little. It'll probably be a week or so before I get it though.

I only use it to allow my hand to relax for a little while on long trips so I won't use anything much.

Re: 50 cent throttle lock......................

Or basically what I've been telling people here since 2005. http://r3owners.com/viewtopic.php?t=612 ... ottle+lock

It's cheap and it worked just fine for me.
