Boost

At least 10 with some timing pulled out but I'm sure others here like Warp9.9 are running more than that.

The intercooler gets you in trouble sooner -- it's both more plumbing and more things to break, and allows more fuel - more pressure still.

Pays -literally - to have someone who knows what they are doing to do it for you, or sell you the kit they've already checked out on they exact motor you have.

Thanks. I wouldn't want to run a turbo without an intercooler though.
My turbo does fine without an intercooler. Would be nice to have an intercooler to get a bit more power. Air intake temps run around 110 on an 80 degree day.

I have the boost is good kit but from the link Steel gave it looks like they've updated the turbo they're using. They used to install the Aerocharger variable vane unit.

What do you use to tune it? Does PCV cover all the bases or do you have two different systems working at the same time?

Yes, the PCV with a pressure sensor wired to the analog input to read the boost is all that is needed. I also use Dynojet's ignition module that is made to plug right into the PCV to pull out timing as boost increases.

Cool. How much Torque are you pulling?
