Are you saying that the rocket is not as strong as a ****** rocket??We ran over 300 HP with 1300 ccs and and beat the pee outa them run after run..I don't want 300HP on the rocket but 225 would be nice with 200 FT LBs. With the low compression and senseable riding I think the clutch would be the weakest link.And that can be up graded..Then you could forget about squeezing that last half HP with the tune boy or PClll. Just spend your money and get what you want..Blowers don't blow **** up untill you keep trying for that little bit more little bit more..Blowers make engines more volummetric efficient and only put more stress on the engine when WFO.Not all the time like high compression,boring, stroking,high RPM and all that stuff that costs more than a blower..Does not hurt milage as much eather.If you run a blower like a 16 year old ,yes you will have trouble but so will internal mods..I have blown All manor of SB chevs.and mustang cobras (which now come stock with eatons) and you cannot equal the bang for the buck any other way..Ask Tomo.. Oh yea, every 18 wheeler on the planet has a turbo.Why,,Volummetric efficienty.. Jack . Can you lend me some money???Ha

Here's the power charts on the Intercooled Supercharger kit TTS has just completed for me. The charts you see were done with stock cams and exhaust... blue line non-intercooled, red line intercooled. We believe my supercharged "bagger" will easily top 250 RWHP with the specialized cams Neville Lush Racing and exhaust system from ARC Fabrication. TTS informs me that a Walbro fuel pump will be needed over 250 HP, as the stock unit can't keep the fuel pressure needed over 245... lock-up clutch an absolute necessity.



IMO, Richard at TTS has done a nice job of integrating the intercooler, radiator, and supercarger oil cooler into a single unit:

At 12000 rpm, I'd say yes. Well, with no experience ruining a Rocket, this is just speculation. And I have no desire to find out, 140 hp being sufficient for my needs. Bigger explosion, more damage. That extra power will stress every moving part in the bike. If you're going to spend all that money, why not harden everything you can? It just takes money.

Dammet Doug now you picking on me too just bacause of my Viagra habit..ThHe Listen I didnt say anything bout spinning a rocket to 12000 rpm..Thats totally impossible with piston speed like that..All I want is more torque up to say 6500..I wouldnt even want the inter cooler in my climate out here..If your gona run miles at a time for top speed,yes harden everything and intercool for long periods of boost..Me, by the time I get to the bar I've only been on boost for 30 seconds or so,thats not much heat and stress..Had an EMC blower on a 107 S&S motor running only 6 LBs boost and it stayed together as long as I had It..(Guess 15000 miles)And even though It was an S&S they are not noted for long life. No I wouldnt blow a bike that I rode to work every day. Spike Is just amusment for this old man..(Unless I take some viagra) I want enough torque to pull the ass hole out of a rinocerose.Like I always say (greedy americans)just keep the boost low and It will last..The only other way for more torque Is nitromethane and since our nitro plant blew up its all chinese nitro and god only knows how they regulate It If their dog food Is poisioning dogs.Boost Is good.. Crazy Jack (Bigger explosion) oh and I know its just an expression but It is not an explosion Its a burn..Thats part of the trick to keep them together..Later Gotta go take my meds..

Hombre that setup does look much cleaner.

I wonder how close to the Rocket's max speed you can get with that set up? The caluculated max for the Rocket with current gearing and tire size is 179.3 mph.
