Loosen (wind inwards) the adjuster at the top end of the cable, undo the nut underneath the lever assy then push the pin out.
Once out the lever (2 pieces) will be free and able to be unhooked - re hook (attach) new lever and put the pin back in and fasten nut.
Re tension your clutch cable with the adjuster leaving 3mm play in the cable.
Repeat on right side.
The pic below shows the underside of the lever assy, the nut you need to undo is arrowed and the 2 piece lever is circled.

Awesome mate thats exactly what im looking for ,last time i asked i got told to do some funky sheeit springing the lever and un hooking made no sense :)
 
hi, i believe i've read somewhere the roadster has a mercury switch which doesn't allow the engine to start after a tumble . It takes 10 minutes to reset or something like that. So it may go now if it's had a long enough rest.

That might be true if the bike is still on its side. mine started after I bypassed the clutch switch.
 
Mercury switch sounds feasable as the bike stopped running while on its side after a couple seconds, yes i was in shock and didnt hit the kill switch asap
