Hi thought I'd fill in the introduction so you know a bit about me.
I'm a 54 year old (**** that sounds really old) geordie from just outside of newcastle england, 2 adult kids and a wife. Had my 2004 rocket for 18 months and love it. I'd always wanted one from when they first came out but finances had always got in the way. the rocket is a classic in black with the gray motor (still not keen on the blacked out motor) it had only done 10,500 miles when I bought it from yuels in blackburn, now its over 18000 with custom seats by saddlecraft, soft bags, rack with small sissy, crash bars from germany (after dumping it in the mud at this years farmyard party rally) and a fabricated trailer hitch to pull the trailer (which I cant notice or see when towing, but its narrower than the panniers so if they can make it threw the trailer goes threw.
Welcome to the site Blackie
Not keen on the blacked out motor? first ive heard that most people prefer it over the dated grey but each to their own i guess anyway enjoy the beast mate and welcome to our great forum
