Beware of signal bulb replacement

Hey guys just wanted to share with you the stupid thing i did a few weeks ago..
I swapped out my front signal lenses for harley chrome/flat clear ones,
Had to drill little holes to mount them, but they look much nicer... unfortunately the yellow bulbs that come with the kit dont fit, they hit the cover. I cant find any smaller ones like the triumph ones in yellow so i am running the clear bulbs also for now.
** Here is where the problem really came in....
When changing the bulbs there is a little tab inside the socket that got bend down when i put the bulbs in and shorted out, and blew the 10 amp fuse.
** Make sure when installing the bulb that you dont bend that tab down...
If you look at it you will know what im talking about.
So far no problems running the clear bulbs in there with the clear lenses.. i know its probably not legal but it looks better.. hey most the harley guys dont even run signal lights..

Just thought id share that with you as i never saw that type of socket before and felt like an idiot when the dealer showed me..

Thanks for posting that for me, wish i could figure out all this crap it would be fun to post more pictures... just dont have time to learn about it right now.. plus im still learning about the digital camera.. Phone seems to work best right now but the pics arent as sharp and clear.
