Baxter Cycle

not a 155 lb. guy like me. Go a head get your scrawny kicks in but know this, my bike at 14 lbs boost does not have to strain with the extra weight.:D

OMG! You weigh 155 and have a turbo!?!? Bet you have to tie your hands to the handlebars! :D

Supercharger actually which IMOP does not create the massive torque at low rpms like the turbo. I like that though it allows me to take off without spinning the rear. I do bust it loose if I drop her into 3rd at 6k depending on the pavement. I just screw around with it as I am no proffessional racer. I am addicted to the power though. I went to a local radio station bike night. There were 145 bikes there mostly HD and only one Triumph. When people were leaving they were of course thrashing their rides showing off. After a couple hours later I left and spooled her up at take off which sounds like a jet engine is attached to the side. I call it the whistle :D

Had a bunch of stuff come up suddenly and definetly unexpectedly.
Not sure I'm gonna be able to swing this run.
I'd love to for sure,
once again, time will tell.
Still hoping to make it, just not positive at this point.

Sorry to hear that Skip. I am still piecing my weekend together.

Might try to catch Pigr and Tomo Friday afternoon/evening. I will be a soccer Dad until 1 on Saturday. I could roll in first thing Sunday. My Dad wants help at an antique tractor pull Sunday afternoon, 3 hours west of Marne. So many things to do so little time!

Amy and I will be rolling in Friday around noon. We are leaving here on Thursday morning and staying in Grinell at the Best Western en route. I'll be trailering out as I'm bringing my T100/sidecar outfit. Amy gets the car for antiquing and I get the bike. I already called Randy and asked if I could unload the outfit at the shop, I need some help geting it off the trailer.

We are staying at the Super 8 in Walnut (antique capital of Iowa) for Amy's enjoyment, not mine. I would have preferred Atlantic but the wife calls the shots on lodging.

We'll be there all 3 days and then we are off to Northern Iowa for 2 days with the builders of the sidecar, Motorvation Engineering. They have wanted to to a photo shoot of the bike for their new website so I'm gonna accomodate.

I imagine I'll be entering it in Baxter's show which I believe is on Sunday.

You'll recognize the outfit, it's blue and white with red pinstripes. It looks very retro but in fact, it's an '02 T100 and the chair is an '04.

See all of you there.

Just got off the phone with Baxter's and my bike is done and waiting for me. Still looks like I should make it in early afternoon Friday. I wish I had been blessed with more oatience 'cause this waiting SUCKS.

Good to meet you Walleye Jig! Of course it is always good to gleen wisdom from Tomo, Pig9r and Flip.

I spent Friday and Saturday nights, was not around during the days. Gus was a very kind host, I am truly fortunate to only have to ride past 1 other Triumph dealer and 110 miles to get to the Man who knows how to work on these great bikes. I will be there next year Lord willin and the creek don't rise.

Gus is the real deal. It was great to meet BillZ sidecarflip and pig9r and toystoretom....all great guys. I had a chance to talk to av8r4fun for all of about 30 seconds because I had to fly. Gus went above and beyound. Great host, **** good wrench and over all one hell of a good guy. Was I the only S.O.B. with a car tire or did it just seem like it?
