Just a heads up.
Cycle Gear has a black friday sale and the battery tender is marked down from $39.99 to $19.99.

Saaaaaweeet . .. thank for the heads up . . . plan pick one or two up. Can't have enough of those puppies around!

I use the tender jr for the little bikes 750 and 1300cc

Battery tender plus for the r3 - 1.25amp

Just my .02c FWIW

Gotta 1.5 for the R3. I use it in the off season.

The smaller tenders are good as well, it handles the 4 wheelers and my other bikes in the shop.

Used the Jr on my r3 stock battery and it only lasted 2 years, whereas my 750 battery is still going strong on a Jr after 5 years - hence my concern

I hear ya . . . guess I'll stick with the 1.5 on the R3 and the Jrs. for the smaller bikes.

BTW . . . Rocket battery going on 3 thus far. :D

Agreed . . . I have a 1.5amp charger that I just used to prep my wife's VTX1300 for an hour or so after adding the acid to the new cell.

One of my chargers has a neat little light that lets you know when it's ready. BTW . . . that was also the recommended amperage and charge per the battery manufacturer.

Now I'll keep it on the trickle charger during the winter. :D
