I went with the OEM din socket accessory

and an optimate to DIN cable

Is that ugly and play - is there a socket there to connect to ?

I don't think it is ugly, no.

I went with the OEM DIN accessory socket as stated. There is a wire behind the airbox and 2 little fixing holes under the tank to fix it to. Hardly noticable... think ugly is a bit strong though!

Hi, I’ve had the same fitted to my bike very neat fitment, just a quick ? when using optimate 4 do I use standard charging or can-bus.

I've just received the accessory socket, but it wasn't cheap from Triumph. It cost me £48.00. Nice little job for me over the weekend.

+1 here. Went for OEM myself, my dealer included it in the purchase of the bike along with the Triumph charger (Optimate).

Is that designed to connect to the battery directly or does it tie into the accessory circuit?
