I no longer have a job in PNG got fired just a few weeks ago , non problems there but it changes my planning big time so I am about to purchase a small motorhome and get the hell out of alberta before the cold sets in and i will go south arizona first so any one in these warmer climate ring up so I can meet and ride with you fair weather riders.
Evil mitch sorry Buddy but due to my unexpected removal from the job in PNG I wont be around OZ anymore.
and to top it all just as I left the new airline a plane crashed and killed 28 people at the main base of Madang I guess I do not need that kind of environment.

also can someone chime in and give the date for the maggie valley reunion for 2012 I should be able to drive there in time
thanks

do not get chills.. I am 65 not building souvenirs anymore and my flying days are nearly over the M/H is to escape the cold , I am going to look at one next week in brookings oregon a trek 25 with diesel engine. but I may rent a condo if that does not pan out I am NOT in the same predicament as our friend kelly was.
I enjoy life too much and I have no problems of any kind beside I ride a mean yellow R3.

You might just want stay there in brookings, its a banana belt town, sunny and warm when the rest of the oregon coast is foggy and cold. Park there and then get on the Rocket and ride the ca coast, wintertime hotel rates are cheap and the riding is fantastic. Oregon is usually raining in the winter but you might get lucky, that coastline is also a fantastic ride. If you go down the ca coast from brookings, when you get to the town of Fortuna you will hit Highway 36 east out to red bluff, 128 miles of the nicest twisties you will ever ride. I have not ridden deals gap but from the description of it 36 ought to be at least as good and for a LOT more miles. No cameras though, no tourists, you will likely be one of the few bikes on the road.

You cannot go wrong riding ca in the winter.
