Looks like you have a durable and functional setup, congrats on that. In regards to the grips- I have received them in good order and they are installed and working well, so thanks again for those.

was a pleasure to make you happy cannot believe they are already mounted!!

You might just want stay there in brookings, its a banana belt town, sunny and warm when the rest of the oregon coast is foggy and cold. Park there and then get on the Rocket and ride the ca coast, wintertime hotel rates are cheap and the riding is fantastic. Oregon is usually raining in the winter but you might get lucky, that coastline is also a fantastic ride. If you go down the ca coast from brookings, when you get to the town of Fortuna you will hit Highway 36 east out to red bluff, 128 miles of the nicest twisties you will ever ride. I have not ridden deals gap but from the description of it 36 ought to be at least as good and for a LOT more miles. No cameras though, no tourists, you will likely be one of the few bikes on the road.

You cannot go wrong riding ca in the winter.

I will report on the ride to red bluff expect to hit it around the 27th or 28th

thanks for the info
