Wohw Patrick sorry for the lost job - but congrats to the change of life quality.

I was fired with 59 and lost a lot of money and by that most of my future plannings. Now I am over 60 didn't got a new job and I am trying to find back to the important things of life.

So Patrick if you every come to Europe again, let me know. I am living near Bremen part time and the colder season I will live in Spain. And you can remember this beautiful area.

I looked into that but found more practicability in a small M/H and a small horse trailer pulled behind ,hence the 25 foot safari trek with a horse trailer cost being a factor as well .
I found a used 2horse trailer with dual axle and electric brakes in good shape for $1000.00 it has enough room in front of the bike for all the "stuff "plus with front side doors I can get at the BBQ ,lawn chairs etc etc. and they are buit strong enough to carry 2000 lbs of live meat
just have to rip all the horse impediments on the inside I will also keep a bail of hay on the roof so not to worry about bike theft.
the trek I am looking at, has the 6.5 GM diesel engine a bit lame but durable and steady powerplant . unless somebody tells me otherwise I will consider that engine for my needs. and if any of you captains look into dirt cheap bike, trailers, boats RV etc etc.. check the CRANKYAPE .COM site lots of toys at rock bottom prices.

I am planning to visit a lot of warm place this winter and since a great bunch of you have offered BBQ and beer I will leave the cold canadian winter around the 19th and make a beeline for the the south following advices from RAYVIN and UGARTE and others , got to check the forum to remember who "s who ;
I picked up a 3 horse trailer in montana and after shoveling the poop and brooming away the hay and food pellets plus grinding away all the horses' impediments I turned the trailer into a R3 trailer complete with room to carry all the "stuff " plus I used my framelock , FRAMELOCK is a S&S design to lock up a harley davidson to a floor or a trailer with no strapping required anymore, so I modified it and VOILA!! a R3 frame lock so now I can ride the bike up the ramp and lock it into the framelock , the wheel chock up front meanwhile hold the bike straight so I can do all by myself
the trailer being a three horses is wide enough so no mod was required to ride it in and lock it. next week I hook up the motorhome and sayonara winter!!
here are some shots of the trailer to give ideas to some of you guys who need to pull the bike. it is a 10 long by 6 wide with dual axles with brakes strong and simple ..
