2013 R3R
Mine will be up for sale this spring, if anyone is interested. I already have a person who is interested, but if he decides not to buy, I will list it here. It's a 2013 model with just a little over 10K miles in near perfect condition. I posted here for now because it's not officially up for sale yet.

Several reasons. I've lost interest in riding and I think it's because of all of the distracted drivers on the roads these days. I've had several close calls with idiots on cell phones, and it seems almost like a daily occurrence hearing about fellow riders getting clobbered by some idiot cager. I have decided to fill my need for speed with a Corvette, and the wifey-poo isn't going to let me have two expensive toys, so the R3R has gotta go unfortunately...

I can certainly understand your point. I ride along daily and watch people on their cell phones. I feel it is more dangerous on the road than it has ever been since cell phones came along. Sitting at lights watching them scrolling through things on their phone. What is that **** interesting? Then you leave the light and they are just sitting there, they would not even know the light changed except my BC hogslayers are a little loud. I will never quit riding but I understand your reason that is for sure.

I don't want to hijack the thread -- I've lived in the same house for 21 years -- not many people do that any more. There is an intersection near my house that is an old two-lane road crossing a major six-lane feeder. I'm often on the two lane road to get across. At rush hour, the cars back up such that only so many get through before the light turns red, and folks so many cars back and more, move up but have to wait another cycle. I have an odd perspective of keeping track over those 21 years how far back I could be and still make the light. Over that time, cell phone use went from uncommon to ubiquitous, and there is a strong correlation between that and the reduction in the number of cars that get through that light. And it's like any statistics -- I can't tell who, but when I'm in the back of the line there is a high probability that three drivers in the string in front of me will have noticeable delays in moving after the car in front of them has moved, and I'm back there Grrrrrrrrrr

That's what my wife says (in not so many words) and a quickly shush her, warning that the thought police helicopter may soon be upon us.

I have been in my house on a dead end road since 92. Nice and quiet until the Morris boyz roll the bikes out. I too have a similar traffic light about 5 miles away. The delay is in the young women on their cell phones most of the time. Remember I said most of the time.
