Anyone have or use this?

Looked it up on Tiresavings.com and that certainly is a good looking tire.

2 observations only:

1. The center rib is quite large. Others with similar tires have reported that they tend to track rain grooves moreso than ones with a thinner or wavy center rib.
2. The 340 treadwear rating is on the upper side of most sticky summer tires. It should last for a very long time.

Give it a go and post your impressions after a 1,000 or so miles.

There are several options that you can see at www.tiresavings.com. Enter the size that you are considering and it will show you pictures in a long list. I run a 225/55-16 and there are about 15 viable alternatives.

Keys that I look for are: Treadwear Rating 300 or less and the lack of a large solid center rib.

Myself and quite a few others run the Riken Raptor ZR. It has a thin, wavy center rib that is unaffected by rain grooves and it works very well in the wet. I ride in almost all weather conditions except snow and ice and have always felt confident with the Riken.

Other really good alternatives are the Toyo Proxes T1-R (looks the best I think) and the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS but both are somewhat more expensive.
