Any quickshifter tips??

Jagster, just an FYI for ya, the TSA is initially turned on in the ECU yes (BTW you can do this yourself with a Triumph scan tool) but when you disconnect the battery, the re-enable is carried out on the bikes TFT screen menu. Had my battery disconnected several times & have had to select Enable again on the menu & go through the learning process, (which is no biggie) I haven't had to hook up the scan tool & turn the TSA back on again.

Might save you some frustration & a quid at the dealers.

Yes...here's one:

Don't disconnect the bikes battery once you're all 'quickshifted' up.
If you do, you have to get a Triumph technician to re-register it.
PITA. 🤬

That's one big example of why I HATE modern tech. It's so amazing what tech can do, but it's so stupid at the same time.
Just give me a cave and some rocks to get a spark going and i'll be far more chilled.........er......literally...:whitstling:
I disconnected my battery. After refitting my battery I noticed all the "saved" settings on TCF had to be re selected/saved- from the clock/ time all the way to the QS setting. Switched the QS back on. No problems...

I don't believe they're called "Saved" it's just what you select / set the TFT display to. It's the Date and Time and Quickshifter that need to be set again. You'll also notice you have reset to zero the trip meter & fuel, but there's nowt you can do about those ones.

I don't recall seeing a "saved" setting.
Scroll through your menu.
Under BIKE Setup, scroll down to TSA (Shift Assist) click on this; it will say Enable or Disable- click whichever suits your riding style. If there are any problems/faults with the TSA- it will automatically be disabled so you'll just change gear via the clutch... and see a technician asap.

You can hook up another power source if you know you are going to be removing the battery but if you get the wires shorted then it will.blow a fuse.

And what exactly is the learning process? Do you simply have to quick shift up and down through the gears or is it more involved than that? It seems as though the ECU should retain all that information much like it retains everything else when the battery is unhooked.

The attached was posted by another member who got it from a Triumph Tech dude. It 100% works every time if you follow the procedure & it's quick to do. Just ride somewhere using every gear for at least 10 seconds. After you've done 10 sec in 6th the TSA is all go again.

I did that the last time I disconnected the battery and let me tell you that 10 seconds in 6'th gear on the country roads where I live is no easy task.
