Hello from the Sunshine Coast in BC Canada. I've been lurking here for a couple of months, really enjoying the good info and camaraderie. 3 months ago I bought a 2007 R3 Classic Tourer with 73,000 km. My previous bike was a BMW R1150RT, nice bike but just too small for 2 people and camping gear. I am really impressed with the torque and simplicity of the R3 although there are a few things that kind of spoiled me with the Beemer like adjustable windshield, heated grips, gear display. I plan to do ALL of the repairs and maintenance myself so I will definitely be relying on the knowledge and experience of the members here.
