I've just ordered a PCV and AT, so I'll need to "accept" and change the fuel map etc, can the Android do this task? PCV is only windows based, but I believe I have seen in Tune ECU on my Adroid something about accepting trims or such. Does anybody know if the droid will do this or do I absolutely need to hook up to my windows computer.
TuneECU modifies the stock ECU only. iirc the Windows version of TuneECU does more too.
And to get a PCV to work at it's best there are things you SHOULD do via TuneECU as well.
Especially with AT. You should also, imo, use the PCV/AT in map/gear mode.
I stand corrected - Though if you have the display module as well and log/analyse data then Windows I think is still the only option.
My experience of OTG is very limited - I hate cellphones. But I'd be concerned that the PCV sucks a normal phone of power REALLY fast.
For extended connection I'd still use a PC - plus you can connect to both the ECU and PCV at the same time. Most PC's have a couple of USB ports.
