Alarm mounting question

I am thinking of installing one of those nifty Scorpio paging alarms with the RFID chip. It would be nice if the module would fit underneath the driver's seat, but I do not know if there is enough clearance. I have the standard model R3 with the factory seat. The manufacturer says that the module is 3/4-inch thick. Anyone have experience or knowledge about installing an alarm on the R3? And if there isn't sufficient room under the seat, is there anywhere else that I can install it (say behind a side cover or something like that)? Thanks!

The Triumph (Datatool) alarm is fitted under the seat behind the battery.

I've got the Datatool 4 and its fits fine behind the left hand sidepanel and about 30-35mm thick

After careful consideration, I decided to buy one of these rather than install a permanent alarm. Thanks to all who responded with information.
