New here as I am to the R3 Bought an 07 R3 a few months ago so thought I'd drop in and say hi....now...where's that problem page?? one is having issues lol

Welcome from Dallas tx. For problems you could probably use common issues forum. Being new I'm sure if you state the problem/s your having here someone would help direct you to the proper forum. Sure you won't be disappointed. Lot of knowledgeable members here.

G'day and welcome. I doubt that there are many problems that haven't been encountered before - and solved. The biggest problem I have with mine is this winter weather causing lack of riding.

Haha indeed

It would appear the fault on mine is fairly common in the fact the R3 won't start...turns over etc but just won't fire which then obviously drains the battery fairly quickly :(

I'm no tech wiz kid and this is my first cruiser...so I dunno where to start other than kicking it the stopping off like a 4 year old ☺

Welcome to the hood....where are you from..? Sounds like you need a battery charger, if mine slips below 12 volts i have the same problem.

Hi Baz, from our damp cold country , if you do nothing else put bigger battery leads, cleanup the earth connections and fit one the ignition bypass mods available as we have crap roads covered in salt and animal fat that corrode electrical stuff very well.

Welcome from a very snowy east lancashire mate

Evening mick

Would you believe I'm at a rally this weekend...gonna freeze ma nuts off lol...

doing the ogri kickstart....brrrr must be mad

if you want to check the condition of your battery there's a easy way you can do it. Connect a voltmeter to a fully charged battery and it should indicate 13.2 volts. if you don't have a set of alligator clips on your voltmeter you may need another person to hold the voltmeter leads to your battery. As you do start or attempt to start your R 3 and if the voltage drops below 10 volts while its cranking your battery is most likely bad.
