Welcome from Downunder. Hope you can sort your battery problem. The best way to keep it healthy is to ride frequently and for a decent distance - every day if you can manage it. Otherwise a battery tender is a good investment. Good connections are vital.

Think I'll defo try the larger gauge ground...seems to be one of a few 'simple and effective' tinkers

That of course being i can find the other end if the cable haha

Greets Baz, bit late must of missed your original post. Love Cheltenham, used it as a base for a 3 day tour around the Cotswolds couple of years ago. Bourton on the water, winchcombe, Stow, Moreton, Broadway, Tewksbury, Toddington. Even popped over to Wales, Wye Valley, Symonds Yat, down to Chepstow. Loved it, especially as it was late July and nearly 30c.
