You may have a bent ABS ring. Have you removed any wheels lately (tyre change??) those rings bend easy but also bends back easy. Put bike on an atv jack to rotate wheels to see if the ring is bent.

The light will come on and stay on until you have achieved a certain speed after the bike is started. Have you rode the bike?
 
ok,
went to the dealers blade stratford this morning ,found out its the eletrical cable in the abs had been caught on the left hand side ,it had come of its cable tie/bracket just under the top yolk.
they done a repair but i said i want a new piece put back in,they said ok.
will have to book it in again,so check your cable how its routed.
