May be a dumb question, but is it possible to "add" ABS brakes? The back locks up way too easily on my classic.
 
I asked that question of a dealer a while back. Simple answer is no. Probably cheaper to buy a newer bike with it fitted, which is exactly what I did. Stretch yourself, it's worth it. Or you could practice Cadence braking.
 
I won't go that extreme had her since 07 and don't plan on getting rid of her
Maybe I'll see about adding a tension spring to the pedal and see if that helps? I'm pretty used to using her softly, but when adrenaline kicks in, can't help but to over press
 
I would love to have just rear abs. In a panic stop it does lock up a slide all over the place. Had to check my shorts twice.
 
Locked the front wheel on my 09 Standard a couple of times.....no probs with the Roadster
