Florida to Washington ? I can volunteer for Idaho as it is a great state for riding. Then just a full day ride to 1olbull in Tacoma.

Once up on a time I mapped a route that would take me through 49 states. A lot of that was on Interstate highways which I am sure would not work for this endeavor.
Depending on the timeframe, I would be up for a few days around the VA and surrounding areas.

@STRIPES I like the idea. How do we make it happen?

@Idaho Red Rocket 3 Great! You are in

@1olbull how about this...breeze gets us through the 4 corners and headed to northern Cali where we hook up with you...you ride us through your area of expertise and get us to Idaho Red Rocket 3 who shows us the sites in Idaho at which time we will be headed back east. Anybody want to swing through Sturgis for the 75th on our way east?

Here's another thought (This is too taxing for me). We could contact the respective Triumph dealers on the route and let them use the "Rolling Rally as advertisement for not only themselves but for RAA also. I bet they (the various dealerships would be vying for our presence like the HD shops do for their clientele. It would increase our numbers. It would cause a draw for their business and gain number of participants. Entry fee could be nominal with all proceeds going to wounded warriors or some military benefit. The dealerships would advertise the event. Of course the general public who would like to visit the gathering at the respective dealerships to see the monstrous conglomeration of Rockets would be asked to donate. That many Rockets is always a draw. Why not capitalize for a good cause?

Don't give up on us yet. If we are going to do this thing right we will end up back on your side of the world at some point. After all we have to ride with the Confederate Cavalry at some point which puts us in the NC/TN area so seems to me we would come pretty near your stomping grounds.

That is a great Idea Stripes. I am the president of the local RAT club and we and our dealer would jump all over that.

Just a thought ... maybe we should plan this for next summer and call it RRAA XI (Rolling Rockets Across America 11) It would most likely be a 2 to 4 week event to complete. No more than 1 to 3 days at each location with 1 main event at each dealer and others independently.

I have enough room at my place for tent campers in the back yard. We had a funeral here last year and about 100 showed up. Plenty of room.

I think we are on to something. I wonder if Patriot Guard would like to be included or even get involved? I am a member but do not get to participate as often as I would like. Maybe this would could help them?

Wow ! What would Trace Adkins say ? I'm not so surprised as my son worked for a professional telephone fund raising company for a police association in NY. The fund raising company kept 85% for themselves and sent only 15% to the charity.
