A riding question.

OH-NO!!!

Chris, @barbagris
What the heck are you talkin' 'bout?!?
"IN NEUTRAL" clutch is engaged, right?

Never mind fail you in the ARC it could fail you in the BRC for not following instructions, of course if you are very low on gas you have to do what you have to do but please try and break the habit of coasting.

Think he’s referring to pulled in while in gear, it loads the clutch plunger mishrooom headed doodad.

ahhhh confession time
when i tried it i just left it in fifth and pulled the clutch in and turned off the ign. i wanted to see if it would start when i turned the ign on and let out the clutch. it started also i would not advise any one to try that. in my young i started a lot of cars like that.
now if i was to do that to save gas i would leave it in fifth and pull the clutch in and let the engine idle. now that would not do any more damage than letting it idle at a long stop light and would not do it longer than 5 minutes.
u also must realize that the clutches will be spinning so that is why i say be in fifth.
if i were coasting in neutral and doing 50 mph i would not like the idea of going back to 2nd. 3rd 4th
of coarse this is just my opinion and practicing my opinion can be dangerous and painful.
